Well Amazon just recently dropped the price for Nocturne, DDS, and DDS2 for 20 dollars each. So I was just wondering if you got it from amazon. I just ordered it and I'm happy they lowered the price. Been trying to get this game for a while for a decent price, but that might mean that it will be on PSN for 10 dollars soon like P3.

Buffs/debuffs stack and never expire (unless Dekaja/Dekunda is used). So spam them.
Always try and talk to demons. And don't get frustrated when you answer their question and they refuse you. Their preferred answer is arbitrary.
Specialise your dude. You only have 8 skill slots so decide if you want him to be physical or a mage or support or whatever. I went with physical since even bosses can be critical hit but not many have weaknesses.
also try and not just fuse demons haphazardly, make sure you keep skills you want on them over time. it'll be better later.
beyond that he pretty much summed it up.
oh and if you pick hard mode NEVER RUN FROM BATTLE.
Wow there weren't kidding when they said this game is hard. Thor is kicking my ass and it doesn't help that my only healer is weak against electricity.
