This match-up makes me feel like an obese person trying to swat a fly.
Granted, I could sit in a corner and swat at the same spot with 2C and hope he stupidly runs into it, his approach with 5D with quick speed into random shit air things (kunai, crescent, moonsault, etc. etc.) makes me have to guard and just wait it out.

Tips? I feel like I'm missing something, because there's almost nothing I can try to punish.

This match-up can get pretty annoying, with SLab being slow vs Yosuke being fast.

I feel this match is mostly reacting to his moves and acting accordingly. with 5D/j.D approaches, just block it and his pressure after it. For reactions, it's basically jumping out of tentrafoo, grabbing him out of moonsault (if he does the crossover one), evasion with the air kunai's and blocking his mirage strike, the attack or it's fake cancels. Though it's not recommended in general, do NOT mash out of Yosuke's pressure. Most of his attacks are pretty much safe and can get the opponent a free CH if you try to mash out.
EDIT: Mirage slash is unsafe on block, so you can punish it if you block it. In sukukaju, it can be special cancelled on the ground so you may need to continue blocking after the slash.

2C is effective to a point, but if the Yosuke is smart with approach they can just break your persona. I mostly find myself using Asterios during pressure, combos, and oki, nothing else.

I haven't fought many Yosuke's who use his install, but it doesn't feel much different, aside from having to block more and watching for crossovers.

If you end up getting in an air combo of Yosuke's in the corner, you have to act accordingly. Instantly teching when you can will get you caught in his 2B air unblockable loop or they may try for an air grab reset. If you decide to tech early, you can try and bait it with 214A/B, but still risky. According to my friend who uses Yosuke, the best option is to late tech and go from there. Although, in general, you will want to limit your aerial approaches due to his fast 5A AA and his 2B AA.

One thing about this match-up to remember is that SLab's rising j.A (or crossover, can't remember, someone check this) will activate Yosuke's trip, but make it whiff you for a free punish. So, after you get a knockdown, you can go into an oki setup and do j.A to activate then land and punish.

I haven't had much experience in this match-up, so I need to play against him more to understand this MU better.
