Section I - Background Information

- Summary:
-(Personality)
To those who don't know Yosuke personally, you would think of him as an outgoing person. He has a friendly exterior, and is usually cracking jokes and teasing his friends. However, on the inside he is a sensitive person, who cares for his friends, even if he does not let on. He is the first person besides Yu to obtain his Persona, and vows to use his powers to catch the culprit, along with Yu.

He is your first member to join your party, and comes with a bit of everything. He skills revolve around Garu (Wind) skills, physical skills, healing, and status buffs/debuffs. He also comes packed with Tentarafoo, which has a chance of confusing all enemies. Generally considered "The Mario" of the group. He is strong against Garu skills, however he is weak to Zio (Lightning) skills. However, when his S. Link is maxed and his persona evolves into Susano-O, his weakness is removed and he gains complete immunity to Garu skills, and becomes strong against Agi (Fire) skills. Players wishing to buff his Garu skills can choose to keep this Wind Boost and Wind Amp, which increases damage by 25% and 50% respectively. Yes, they do stack.

Yosuke is both the fastest character who also jumps the highest out of the whole cast. He has a lot of options to keep the opponent under pressure and constant mix ups will keep his opponents on their toes.
Sukukaja (Awakening Super) allows him to move even faster and his ground dash becomes a teleport.
Yosuke can change the status of the opponent in two ways:
1) Poison - Inflicted by all of his throws. Makes the opponent slowly lose health at a set pace for a few seconds.
2) Confusion - Inflicted by Tentarafoo (236C/D). Inverts the directional inputs of the opponent. Lasts for about 3 seconds.
Section III - Move List
- R-Action:
-Dodge - B+D
Yosuke taunts the opponent. When Yosuke is hit during the R Action, the opponent's attack will whiff and if the opponent is close he/she will fall to the ground (This makes the opponent suffer 500 damage).
- All-Out Rush:
-A+B
A very fast overhead with super armor. When it connects, the knocked back opponent is spinning, you can follow it up by mashing A or B which makes the character dash towards the opponent to continue the combo. After this you can either hit C, which will launch the enemy midair in a cloud of smoke who then can be chased by you to continue the combo midair, or hit D, which will knock the enemy away instead of launching them up.

Yosuke sweeps at the opponent's feet with kunai, knocking them down. Resembles BlazBlue's Hazama's 3C.
- Normals:

A quick horizontal jab with kunai.
S attack consits of a horizontal jab followed by a downward kunai slash followed by an upward kunai uppercut knocking the opponent midair and putting himself airborne.

A quick kunai jab directed at the opponent's feet.

Upward spinning cut with kunai.

Upward cross cut with both kunai.

Yosuke dashes back and forth cutting the opponent a few times, poisoning them.

Yosuke dashes back and forth cutting the opponent a few times, poisoning them and switching sides.

Yosuke grabs the opponent, after which he dives down to the ground slashing the opponent once, poisoning them.

Yosuke dashes towards the enemy and stomps on them, using them as a jump pad and becoming airborne.

Yosuke throws some daggers downwards, with the C version throwing the daggers diagonally downwards and D version throwing them right below Yosuke.

-Moonsault - j.236/j.214A/C
Yosuke makes a quick jump (forward for A version, backward for B version)and performs a slash with kunai.
EX OK.
-Crescent Moonsault - A/B during Moonsault
A follow-up attack after Moonsault.
-Transform Ripper - j.2C/D
Jiraya teleports Yosuke to the ground, as Yosuke himself makes a low slash.
Persona needed. EX OK.
-Tentarafoo - 236C/D
Jiraya places a star-shaped seal on the ground wherever he is at the moment. If he hits the enemy with it, he blows some dust on them, and they become confused.
Persona needed. EX OK.
- Supers:
-Garudyne - 236236C/D
Jiraya envelops Yosuke in a green tornado, which rapidly spins around the screen. You can control the direction by pressing the appropriate directional buttons.
Persona needed. Air ok.
- Awakening Super:
-Sukukaja - 214214C/D
Raises Yosuke's speed greatly. Ground dash becomes a teleport.
Persona needed.
- Instant Kill:
-Brave Blade - 222C+D
Yosuke does an upward slash with kunai (his Persona summon animation from the original P4 game) after which Jiraiya, engulfed in green winds appears behind Hanamura, and in a spinning motion moves a little forward before Yosuke, spinning in place for a short while.
If it hits, the enemy is launched to the skies. Then, Yosuke slashes the enemy numerous times with his kunai, after which Jiraiya finishes the enemy ending the match.
