I'll be picking up the Japanese version when it drops. Really looking forward to playing again after getting a quick go at a location test last year. I'm really hoping people pick it up here, hopefully the boys at Shadowloo or CouchWarriors will help out and start running it at SNL and CouchWarriors events here in Melbourne.

I hope it does get picked up for a Melbourne major - always attracts huge crowds. It's a huge disappointment that Blazblue got scrapped...

I was lucky enough to be in Tokyo at the time, and it was purely by chance that I was wandering around an arcade in Akihabara and found what was going on. I just lined up without really knowing what was going on

I'd say it will, from the sounds of things down here people are looking forward to it and it seems we're all waiting for a new game to play too. Plus, I think with people being more familiar with the Persona franchise they will be more inclined to give it a go.

Wow, that's pretty lucky hahaha, good on ya. Which char/s did you get to try out?

It probably won't get picked up here in our main fighting game community events, mainly because it's heavily dominated by Capcom players, many of whom don't want to branch out. That being said, I know a few people interested in playing, enough to develop a small scene at least. And surely there's got to be more people I'm unaware of that is hyped for this game in Perth haha.

I got a go with Chie and lost pretty badly, only because I'd never really played any games similar like GG or BB so I didn't really have any idea what to do. I considered going back for another go but the line was stretching up like 3 or 4 flights of stairs so I just went and played AE instead.

I'm trying to keep positive, but it will probably end up with only a small group of players here too. Still, some is better than none! If it has a good netcode we should be able to play with Japan pretty easily. I can get a relatively good connection with them here in Melbourne, I don't know how Perth goes though.

So it uh, looks like we won't be playing the game for a while, with the region locking. I won't be able to until Autumn 2013, however it's highly likely that Atlus won't release a PAL version til then anyway :P

Yyyyep, pretty much. I had a discussion with my mate about it last night - I'm wondering if you can bypass it just by turning your internet off :P
