    Kanji Tatsumi - General Discussion "Bad, Bad Bathouse"


    Talk about how godlike his win pose is or how FABULOUS his shadow is.

    Anything Kanji related goes here!


    Kanji Tatsumi v1.02 Change List-

    + Buff
    - Nerf
    = Neutral
    ? Unknown

    + 5B: On ground hit and on guard, there is no pushback; pulls the opponent closer on counter-hit
    + j.A: Hitbox has been strengthened
    + Ground throw: Easier to use during dash inertia; damage increased
    - Shuddap! [B+D]: Attack active frames decreased; recovery time increased
    = Gotcha! [236C or D] (C version): Faces the opponent when done while crossing over
    + Gotcha! [236C or D] (D version): Persona is invincible during standby
    + Tatsumi-Style Peacemaking[236236A or B]: The falling chair after the attack builds SP Gauge on hit or on guard

    Kanji looks a like a fast grappler...also i am glad that he has an air-dash...the first thing i thought was that he would be a slow character(maybe he still the slowest compared to other characters in the game) also i cant wait to see more definitive gameplay of him...but for now i think maybe he is the heavy_hitter grappler of the game...maybe Take-Mikazuchi will be used a lot to zone and lock-down the opponent in place...stuff will change before the release gets closer obviously...but that is my opinion of Kanji for now...

    Looking at his movelist, I'm surprised that his buster attack and his awakenings didn't require 360 or 720..

    I couldn't really see myself mashing 236B on wake up... oh wait, I play Platinum...

    I sure hope he gets his busters changed to a 360, 236 is going to totally mess me up I think..
    I mean If I play him enough I would probably eventually get used to it but still...
    ...A GRAPPLER WITH NO 360 OR 720?

    Well, IF they dont change the input, you can use it as a walking busters lol..
    But you're right, will be weird if they stick to 236..

    Aight I'mma bring this thread back to life. So my impression of Kanji is he seems very Haku-menish now stay with me on this I just think he seems more like Haku-men than Tager or Potemkin nah mean? cause he has pretty damaging moves but hes kinda slow but not as slow as your average grappler so I think it's cool if he doesn't have a 360 or 720 I know that wasn't worded well but I hope it got my point across. I dunno just take a look at his gameplay and yo if I'm wrong then it's all good. Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents
    Damn it feels good to be a gangsta.
