    Mitsuru Kirijo is the only child of Takeharu Kirijo, the head of the Kirijo Group. She is Gekkoukan High School's valedictorian and the student council president and is part of the school fencing team. She is one of the most respected and popular students at the school. After graduating from Gekkoukan High, Mitsuru went to college and is a part of the social elite. She came to Inaba in order to look for something and sent an invitation to the P-1 Grandprix to Akihiko.

    Mitsuru is a character with very powerful and quick normals at her disposal. The primary objective when playing Mitsuru is being close enough for her own attacks to connect and lead into combos but far enough away so that the opponent has a hard time capitalizing on anything. At any distance she can be a relative threat to any opponent, with the long range attacks from Artemisia and her own swift mid ranged pokes. This allows her to constantly apply pressure to the opponent with little effort.

    d) Freezing Mechanic
    Mitsuru is capable of freezing her opponent with the moves , +, , all versions of Bufula, Bufudyne, and Mabufudyne. All moves that have freezing capabilities require Artemisia. And once the opponent is frozen they must quickly toggle left and right a total of 4 times to break out of the ice. Mitsuru is allowed 2 or 3 freezes per combo. Her ice chains, Bufulas, and Bufudyne all act independently from each other. In other words your not allowed to use the moves twice and freeze twice. You must use another freezing move to freeze them a second or third time.

    Mitsuru hops back and slashes in the area in front of her. She is fully invul during her hopping animation and the slashes hitbox is extremely wide. Arguably her best normal. Capable of Fatal Countering

    Marin Karin, Artemisia is summoned and shoots a heart that homes slightly on the opponent and places them into charm state upon contact. 14-18 points of meter are drained from the opponent and is added to Mitsurus SP bar. Charm state will cease if Mitsuru is hit anytime while its active.

    Artemisia is summoned and prepares 6 giant shards of ice. Mitsuru is able to act freely during the supers active phase, pressing C will command Artemisia to shoot 2 shards of ice, while pressing D will command Artemisia to shoot smaller shards of ice. Both are able to potently lock the opponent down, however if either Artemisia or Mitsuru is hit during its active frames, the super will end.
