Persona 3 (FES) - General Discussion

I had those same save problems playing both P3 and P4 off the disk on my backwards compatable PS3. I think it might just be something about the way those games interact with the PS3 hardware. Not sure it'll be something they can fix.

Edit: Admittedly, I never had as many as 20 in one night.

I was saving each day. Also saving multiple times in my toothpaste runs. Im playing it on a Slim (my old 60gb died a few months back).

Can anyone tell me if Orpheus Telos is essential for beating Elizabeth? I wanna do another playthrough and also want to fight her but I'm not gonna bother with a guide for the S. Links so Yuko and Chihiro will probably not like me by the end of the game. If beating Elizabeth without Telos is practically impossible then I'll try super hard not to piss any ladies off but I'd rather not.

You don't need Telos but he makes the battle infinitely easier considering the effort you have to put into getting him. Vishnu and Ananta are mandatory though.

Hmmm. Are you saving in multiple slots? It always seemed to happen more the more save slots I used, although was never quite sure. I cut back to two or three save slots, and the problems seemed to go away, you might try that? Or it could be a problem with the Slim model, I don't know. Or it could really just be random, it's hard to say.

I am only saving on slot 1. I know Jourdal has been using three slots and has been getting it as well.

In that case, I don't know what to do. It sounds like the problem is just worse in that version. That kinda stinks.

That's the one I used to beat Theo in P3P, I think. I know what I need to do, I just wanna know if I can do it without Telos. I guess I just need to find a bunch of Personas with no weaknesses or repel/nuls. That'd probably be way easier than trying to get all the skills I want onto Telos anyway.

This is about the downloadable version of FES on PS3.

For some reason my game always derps(blanks out) when ever I go to the fusion shop at the mall. Ba ba ba buuuuuuuuug.

I wonder if it's even possible for these sorts of things to be fixed? FES is just a binary, as far as I know, so they'd have to put in work-arounds in the emulation which I don't know if Sony would do.

P.S. the game is frickin' gorgeous
