    1st off, vid thread got an overhaul, lemme know if you all like it. (Note: everything that's labeled that was added on "4/9/2012" really wasn't but it's basically everything that was there before the overhaul.)

    2nd, compiled a (probably incomplete) list of moves that (unless I missed something when I watched the vids while making the list) affect the Cyclone Gauge level. All of the following add 1 it:
    • Kill Rush
    • Corkscrew
    • Cyclone Upper
    • Ducking
    • Weaving
    • Boomerang Hook


    Next is a (almost definitely incomplete) list of moves that benefit from a higher Cyclone level (note: if the move adds to the level, it gets the benefit of the additional level added):
    • Throw
    • Cyclone Upper
    • Corkscrew


    And finally, the Cyclone Gauge goes depletes mid-combo if moves that affect it aren't used long enough.

    Apparently, 5D can be delayed. Not positive how it's done, but I'd guess it's just by holding down 5D and releasing when you want it to activate.

    Now HERE'S something that'll get people posting in here : Akihiko has a blockstun infinite with the ever-so difficult input of (236A>2AC)xN. Looks like short hopping cancels Kill Rush, and Kill Rush cancels short hops. FUNSIES, WOOOOO!

    Whilst the blockstring infinite may not be that useful seeing as it gives them so much meter. The concept of cancelling the recovery of kill rush like that could be useful in the future for applying pressure. Does it allow you to killrush>cancel>normals moves because the large blockstun caused by the killrush cancel could mean that Akihiko can always reset pressure safely.

    hey u guys just started watching vids for this game and akihiko got me really hyped lol but im having trouble with people saying he doesnt have good options to get in i would love to learn more about this game and my favorite character akihiko

    I was watching the matches with aiges and what's the main way to get in when characters start to zone akihiko
