Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas: Meetup info

Hey! Figured i'd post about the DFW P4A meetups here since some people in the area may be aware of dustloop or facebook DFW FGC group. Separate thread from the texas one so that people dropping in who are in dallas can see it easily.

We usually meet up in north Dallas, usually saturdays from 3pm to whenever, usually at least 10pm. People mostly post on Dustloop and, to a lesser extent, dreamcancel. We play a variety of games(although not very well usually) including BB/MB/KOF13. Hoping that most people go in hard on persona so that we can get consistent, growing competition.

There's sometimes some weekday meetups as well.

This week there will be a meetup at Jet's place, saturday 3pm-whenever, PM me for the address. If you can bring a setup or folding chairs, that would be appreciated. Please bring your controllers.

There will be a persona team tourney there hosted by transient.

Don't be shy or worried about your skill level, we're pretty lax and have a variety of players. Meetups range between 8 and 25 people depending on when people are busy and shit.

Meetup was awesome. Had 26 people, almost all characters represented. Doing the same thing next saturday. Looking forward to UCC team tourney as well.

We're doing D-town Beatdown this saturday instead a normal meetup. There will be casuals! Bring a casuals setup, especially if you brought one to jet's! Signup and casuals start at 1PM and tourneys start at 2pm I think.
$5 venue fee, $10 entry fee per game. You should probably enter persona to bump up numbers, get some more experience for UCC and show people attention to this game isnt just flavor of the month scrubbery.

D-town beatdown had 19 people for persona, casuals were fun as well. Most of us went afterwards to Jet's for more persona casuals. Some people who couldnt go to DTB, including some BB players, showed up for casuals as well. Good shit.

Denton is closer to Oklahoma, although I don't know of a good place to meet there and for many it's probably out of the way.
