100 meter is a little expensive to just throw out, cuz that set-up is only worth doing if your opponent has no burst and very low health.
Id use my SP for something else.

They could also Guard Cancel too. Even if you space it perfectly, they can still use the invincibility frames to get through it.

It should technically. Otherwise, you could counter Guard Cancels by using multi-hitting attacks. Or even just quickly mashing 2A.
