So getting to MLG will drag those money hungry losers in. Sorry for the use of language, but I have had some nasty bumbs in the past with those guys.( I'm an MK/Sc player.). Btu landing MLG is important, but my only problem is that will it be able to break that barrier that Skullgirls was able to break?
As a MB/BB player, I can definitely sympathize and relate to your anger, but it's best to keep a positive outlook and image imo. We have to just push our stuff, keep P4U's image positive, and support it on a local level. Getting angry at randoms does nothing to help tbh.

KOF hasn't quite gained that mainstream presence it needs to be one of the top games in the US.
It seems like it's still in it's own niche group compared to said Capcom games.
It's probably because XIII was its first major time in the US and hasn't grown on everyone yet.
Who knows, with 1000 participants this coming EVO, its popularity could potentially go up.

And yeah I agree; we have to build the P4A scene from the ground up.
Divide and conquer seems like the best approach.

Signed. I feel like this will go pretty well, persona itself is already pretty popular in the US, lets just hope it does well in the FGC

"Everything always starts close to home"... local tournaments or even friendlies will definitely help boost morale to those that have an interest in P4Arena. I never went ANYTHING above a "casual" player when it comes to fighting games. However... since this is a series in which no doubt, we all cherish... I am willing to put in the time & effort to support this game. We just have to remember -

KOF13 community isn't even supporting MLG and they were given a break. I don't know man, this is kind of a joke petition.
Would 2 players really dominate this game? I'm not aware of the anime scene but I haven't heard of any one person always winning. If the pot size was large enough and there were 80 or so players from around the world entering I don't see too much of a problem other than overlapping. We could just propose a lowered entry fee. After the failure KOF had with entrants I think MLG would be open to it.

Yeah, you're right. The sad part..all those guys that say that about anime games can't even make it out of the first round of marvel or SF. What do you guys think about VF? Do you think it will be big?

I signed this earlier on Dustloop. It's a good idea for sure, but as LK stated the game needs to start at a local level and work its way up. So while the end goal is to get the game at major events, it won't go anywhere if it isn't played within your community. If you truly want the popularity of this game to grow, at the very minimum grab a couple of buddies and get them into this game (something as simple as that is all it takes to start a scene!). If you have a local fighting game community, advocate the inclusion of this game at meetings and tournaments.

Even if you don't like MLG, try to look past that and think of your signature as you supporting this game's longevity.
