Don't worry, either your lack of experience of fighters or choosing Labrys as your sub aren't gonna make you a great fail. In fact, everyone sucks at fighters, during the first week and/or month, specially when the game is new and Labrys may not have good speed or neutral or variation in her attacks but she still packs larger damage than most characters in her combos, If you feel like having doubts and feel too noobish to ask about her, Azure is kind of a great person so far I talked about Labrys in the forum, I'm sure he won't mind replying to beginner questions and of course coming up with a good guide. But like everyone you'll have to spend time practicing either combos to friendly matches to get used to opponents tactics and match ups, as long as you don't give up you'll stop playing bad at fighters.

Still is a good choice to main Yu or Yosuke, since they seem very easy to learn at first before moving on someone more advanced if this is your very first serious fighter experience.
