That combined use of shots and trap is really interesting. Lets you get safe pressure started from quite a range away.
Also, Naoto's official joke nickname in English is "The 2000-IQ Killjoy Detective".![]()

Hahaha, "Killjoy." XD
And here's something to look out for. Looks like if you use DF in a blockstring and the first hit doesn't hit because the opponent is too far, they can buffer in a super, maybe even an R-Action.
Damn I'm so mad at myself. I would really love contribute to this thread but since I suck at fighting games there is really nothing I can say that well be of much help. So I really need to be on this tread more, even if what I say is stupid.

Don't feel too bad, I'm sort of in the same boat. Whenever discussion gets beyond general Persona talk and into fighting game theory and terminology, I sort of feel like I'm listening to a conversation in Spanish or something. Like, I can tell the words mean something, but damned if I'm going to figure out what it is.

Don't feel bad, I mean, it's not like knowing fighting game theory and terminology is going to help you in the real world at the end of the day anyway. XD
However don't worry about if whether or not you can contribute or not anyway. If you need help, we'll help you out, because asking questions is another way to make the Naoto board more productive, which is a plus to me.![]()
I swear Im WAAAAY to hyped to play Naoto now. Gonna learn her and Yosuke when I get the game isntead of Yu. But I'll still probably sub Yu and Kanji
Okay then I'll be counting on you guys to help me. And maybe when the game comes out I could be a little more helpful.

That's what this section is for, to help people get better and have fun. Just ask if you don't understand anything and we'll be glad to help. Also if you have any Naoto questions then ask them in the Q&A page.
"......Without love, it cannot be seen? ............Hah. That's backwards. Because of love, you end up seeing things that don't even exist." - Furudo Erika
Yeah, best way to find stuff out if you don't understand, is to ask. Fighting games are really deep in nature and all the terminology is there to make communication easier in the long run. If you stick around long enough you'll figure out what the terms all mean so long as you keep asking questions.
Pretty much what everyone else said. Besides, everyone here doesn't mind helping anyone with any questions. For the most part, we want to see the community grow, have players stay and keep playing, and have more people play the character, so it's a win-win. :3
