Well...i think he is like the all-around character...well his range looks very good...he has decent speed and mobility...but mostly is range looks a bit strong in my opinion...i really need to see some more videos of him...also Izanagi excels in range even more from what i see...well i will better wait to see more definitive gameplay of it...but that is how i see Yu...for now lol

Yu looks fun and balanced. He has that easy to pick-up; hard to master vibe.
He appears to have many tools making him all around versatile.

I think like most main characters he's going to be well rounded. He seems like it to me. He has solid looking normals, a DP, a decent projectile, a close range and long range super, and good damage.
He'll be your standard simpler character with a few tricks up his sleeve at higher levels of play most likely.
I compare Narukami to the Warrior of Light of Dissidia. Both are solid, balanced, standard characters with nothing to spectacular about them, but they still have surprises and tricks to give them an edge
That's a very good comparison.
Kewl, I always liked Warrior of Light. Since he's the main character he'll probably have some simple BnBs (See Ragnya).
Then again, look at Ash Crimson....Gargablargh
