    Shin Megami Tensei:Devil Summoner

Ok..i was thinking of doing a second run of it yesterday and started it over today lol...
In my opinion the game is good...i like the setting and the time-era...the music is good too...also i like the art...specially Raidou design a lot(MC)
other things i must say are that the game is a bit short i think...well and that they give some unpopular demons a spot in the game(which i like the idea of course)also the demon list is pretty small i must say(not a bad thing thou)
And yes...it got a sequel(which sadly i havent played it yet)

Ok some info for those that havent played or heard the game...
First of all...the game is an action/rpg...yes you can move in battles(well you NEED to move)
The battles consists of Raidou and a demon of your choosing
Yes...there is demon fusion and you need to catch the demons
Also the game incorporates demon puzzles along the way(ex. demons have skills and you need X demon to pass X obstacle)and it is a interesting concept i must say...
Finally...the game name is SMTevil Summoner:Raidou Kuzunoha vs The Souless Army(yes it is long i know) and it is only for PS2
in short...the game is different from any other SMT title...some ppl didnt like the game...others do...and i did enjoy it to be honest

well...have ppl in here played the game ??? did you liked it??? hated it??? what do you think of it???

It's no secret from anybody I've talked to here (on the chatbox mainly) that this is one of my favorite games. I beat Soulless Army, as well as all the secret bosses, and now I'm working my way through King Abaddon. I'm about halfway through.

You really should play King Abaddon, Orph. It's like... picture everything in Soulless Army, and make it better. Better battle system, ability to summon two demons at a time, proper negotiation system, more demons, more skills, more puzzles, WAY more secret and side content. Just... better everything xD

... I remember I lend it to a cousin of mine. Got it back ever since, however, have yet to get around to playing the game, since my PS2 broke down, as of late '09. As a last note -

Gotta like Raiho, hilarious as hell. XD

Soulless Army was pretty good. Not anywhere near my favorite SMT game, but it was a neat different direction to explore. King Abaddon, though, perfected all the ideas that were in Soulless Army as well as adding a lot of classic SMT elements that really made it a great experience. King Abaddon is definitely up there on my SMT list. Not at the top, but it's probably like my 4th favorite or something.

    I never finished King Abaddon...
    -.-
    Probably will someday.
But despite my unyielding love of turn-based RPGs, I kinda like how it's...well, not turn-based.
    Very unique series.

Ah... Devil Summoner. Right after P4, Devil Summoner 1&2 are my all-time favorite games. They had such unique, interesting game-play. They also had a really memorable cast of characters~ The soundtrack was soooo glorious! (Meguro Shoji FTW!) I also really loved how the game was set in the Taisho era. I seriously can't say enough good things about Devil Summoner, it's a masterpeice~!
