According to Andriasang, the console release of Persona 4 Arena, at least in Japan, will be dated August 2nd, 2012.
Outlets (EB Games and Amazon) have listed the North American release as August 7th before and Jabbari (Atlus USA person) had said that the game's going to release in August, so I don't think that's a placeholder date for NA.
