I was watching the Persona 4-Animation, when I saw Yosuke get his Persona (Jiraiya), I was wondering-

Me-"Why is Yosuke's Persona a Magician, when it looks like a Disco Ninja Frog?"

More importantly, where the hell does Jiraiya have its eyes? Are the circles attached to his head his eyes? The stars in his face? The dots on his face? Or maybe even the things on his hands???

The ones attached to his head are his eyes, yeah. There's even a 4-panel comic based on how Jiraiya's design makes it REALLY difficult to tell where his eyes are.

The thing with Yosuke's Shadow was that it was talking about how Yosuke wanted to be a hero, when in reality, Yosuke wants to bring Saki's killer to justice. ... So his true self is the legendary hero Jiraiya, who's a frog, and looks like a cheesy 80's hero. Why a ninja frog? Well, ninjas are in these days, look at Naruto!
