It's because he simply gets outclassed by other characters. While Yuu's mixup is sort of subpar, it still seems to be stronger than Akihiko's. He also has more range and alot more damage. Then there...

In my opinion, Yuu's damage is pretty above average, but his mixup game doesn't seem to be that good.

That's what I thought too, barely anybody seems to play him due to his low damage output and somewhat poor range.

Kinda a pity, since Akihiko is awesome. I believe he seems to have the same...
