News Roundup 5/22/2012 - More P4A story details, UNiB's next loketest, and more!

Hello, and welcome to today's news roundup! Today, we have more news on Persona 4: Arena's story mode, Under Night In-Birth's next loketest, some new videos for Persona 4: Golden, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment's opening video, and more details on Naoto's novel.

To begin, Atlus has shown a trailer for Yukiko's story, as well as screenshots and details of her's and Kanji's story modes. Yukiko's story begins with her cooking and finding out that the Midnight Channel is airing again, so she enters the TV to find out what's happening and encounters Labrys. Kanji's story begins with him knitting something for Yu's return, but falls asleep doing so. When he reawakens, he's in the Midnight Channel and in front of what appears to be Yasogami High, where he encounters his shadow. You can view the screenshots here, and the trailer is below:

Next, Under Night In-Birth is having another loketest! It's currently scheduled for early-mid June. Hopefully there will be more information and footage for all the characters.

Third, Atlus has shown some new videos for Persona 4: Golden. These include the new bike attacks, Yosuke in an. . . interesting costume, and more. View them here:

Next up, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment Portable is out in Japan! As a result, the new intro video can be viewed in it's entirety:

And finally, more details on Naoto's post-Persona 4 novel have arisen. The disappearance Naoto is investigating is the disappearance of her old friend Touko Aoi. In addition, when Naoto travel to Yagokoro City she meets Sousei Kurogami, her new partner who calls himself "mechanical" and is the exact opposite of Naoto. They make a questionable team and they discover the "Mayonaka Site".

Kuro says:
A loketest for a video game without (hardly) any footage, I'm mad. We're not even aware if the changes are necessary or taking a strong liking to any of the available characters for Under Night in Birth. Changes practically mean nothing without any subtle proof of the character in action.

Naoto light novel getting some more sun light, I'm amused now. Plus her search for an old friend seems good. Her partner doesn't seem all that reliable as they probably won't bond too well throughout the story. He may have his uses at some given points I might give him that much credit if anything.
FittyYen says:
heh, maybe they discovered mayonaka midnight
