Zero would spoil much of fate but zero would be a good place to start since zero is a pretty good show. The fate stay night anime is not really good and the unlimited blade works movie makes no sense if you have not played the visual novel. So rather than watching those two I would say play the vn instead. But if he has not interest in the vn then go Zero, fate stay night then unlimited blade works.
