I see. Too bad then. I'm doing this because I actually bought the PS3 for P4A, but that was before the region-lock announcement. Now I'm seeing this through cause I want to play this game before it completely dies in the US.

Unfortunately not. But you can just look on your local ebay site from people that ship overseas and ask them for the confirmation.
