2) Signups will start at around 7-8pm. Tournament starts no later than 8:30 pm.
3) Casuals are not allowed until 30 minutes prior to the tournament signups
4) The Main game each biweekly is P4U, KoF is now being tested as the sidegame
5) Each Tournament is $5 entry
6) P4U and KoF will be on Ps3

Game Specific Details:

Persona 4 Ultimate
2 out of 3 Rounds, 2 out of 3 Matches.
Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals Finals 3 out of 5 Matches.
Double Elimination.
Loser of the match can change character. Winner is locked in character.
Navigators are allowed.

So what's the deal with this? I've never disconnected during a ranked match, and only once or twice in normal due to a net issue.
Today while playing ranked this asshole (Endless-Azure) disconnected right as he lost the match (his precious A+ was at stake I guess). As a result I got a red name. This makes no sense. Even if it's bugged and it counts for both sides as a DC, it's the first time this has happened in like 180 ranked games!

Anyone know how to get rid of it or how this bug works? I don't really care about the guy quitting on me, but getting less opponents due to this shit is stupid.

Messiah or Telos?

Lets pretend for a moment that for the Persona 3 Movie, P3MC's True Ultimate Persona was undecided, and we have two choices.

Messiah: Symbolism of a man facing death, fighting against his own fate.

Orpheus Telos: Orpheus reborn from the power of Makoto's bonds.

Personally, I like both. While Messiah fits better within story context, Telos symbolizes what Makoto (and the player) has experienced throughout the entire storyline.

So which do you prefer?

After the apparent success of my last tournament (from what the viewers told me), I decided to get my net situation fixed so stream doesn't drop and got a new capture card so I can run another one.

Ruleset:

- 2/3 Rounds
- 2/3 Matches
- 3/5 Matches Grand Finals
- Double Elimination

- Once you sign up, post your PSN on the thread so I can add it to my list and not searching for it during the tournament.
- Be signed up by 2:45 pm on June 16.

I am a major fan of Persona, and the other MegaTen games and I found it hard not to come forth and join fellow fans of the Persona series after checking out this magnificent website! That being said, I hope we can all be friends, because being friends is awesome! I am also a Junior Music Producer that produces music for a friend of mine, and I also have some talents in storytelling and writing! The not so new lurker

So I've been lurking here for a while but had yet to introduce myself, which I thought about doing so after having been curbstomped by guys of this forum a week ago.
For those who visit Dissidia forums you might know me because of the few mods I've done for DDFF, and for the others, I'm the 5ALabrys that played in the saturday brackets.
Concerning P4A, I'm a fraud Labrys player who's interested in Aigis but was too much of a chicken to try her out since week 1, and I don't dislike Chie's playstile (and not because of Chiekawa ).
As for other games, I'm usually a clumsy Makoto player on BB, hopefully a future Yuzuriha player for UNIB and took an interest in MB recently.
Otherwise, like your average guy who lurks internet too much I like watching anime, mangas, listening to games and animes ost.
Don't know much more that I could add so pleased to meet you o/

Sup ya'll.
Sooo I love playing fighting games (BlazBlue,Tekken,Soul Calibur...) and recently started playing Persona games and loved it, so I got Arena. And since I ain't got many people to practice with, I decided to register here.

I like watching anime's and doing GFX in my spare-time, though I haven't touched dat Photoshop in awhile.
MajinKenSetsugaX aka Chiekawa is my disciple, and I teached him The Art of Chie, only reason why he won the tournament. Obviously he asked his master not to participate to give him a chance at winning, so I did.

Anyway, see ya'll around :P

And whilst editing images I came up with the idea to use the main menu from P4U as my background and then cut out words and sprites etc to bring you a blank template, I hope good use can come out of it.

Well, i've been looking for P4A tutorials for about three days now and i found this forum, so I guess i'll try it out, seeing all the tips that people are willing to give to new players.
I've been a casual (extremely casual) player in fighting games for years now but since P4A came out, I wanted to get better at it and finally be able to land a successful combo (hehehe....). I've been practicing for hours but I wouldn't mind having tips from other players. Even though i'm not that much experienced, I could still share my knowledge about the game...

Anyway, I main Chie (and that's about the only character I can play), and I'm hoping to learn much more about her. I hope I'll have fun here! :D
