  1. Agreed

Well nothing has not really caught my interest yet. The only thing I plan on watching for the summer season is the two code geass ovas and the persona 4 true end ova. I may end up checking out Muv luv or I might just go and download muv luv visual novel (it has a English patch so I hear). But as for now I am working my way through fate/zero Clannad and Gundam AGE.
  2. Zessica with white hair, her sexiness went up 27%. Now that Aquarion is over I wonder what's the next big series to watch. After watching most of the new batch I'm interested in Muv-Luv and Tari Tari. What about you?
  3. I 100% agree with you on the point of Fudo’s true identity. That just seemed to come off rather unexpected but I suppose that they had to get someone to be Apollonius since Amata/Kagura/Apollo was the dog. But it would have been better if left ambiguous

But in retrospect when I look back on the ending I was far too easy on it. The ending was rather lack luster. Perhaps I just over looked it because I enjoyed the series so much before that terrible ending which was full of BS and completely stupid character 180s
  4. I didn't see it coming but I guess Amata got Mikono by the end of series. At least I can go over crack pairings of Kagura and Zessica just to soothe my heart, I can't bring myself to look at Zessica and Amata or Kagura and Mikono after the ending, though most of it was bs it has been concluded.

Commander Fudo should have not been hinted off as Apollonius and just left us asking for more, I would've been more content with that. At least promise with a third season to redeem themselves.
  5. One of my projects are up in the LNC, one of these days you guys may do the same.
  6. Yeah I had heard that the movie did not have a good reception, they even joked about that in the first episode of Evol.

I have really enjoyed FMP, I just love the characters and how it mixes up the mecha genre and the high school comedy genre. I am actually glad I bought the blu-ray on a whim otherwise I might not have gotten around to watching the series.

00 is my favorite of the alternate universe Gundams (Gundams that take place in alternate universes are G Gundam Gundam wing, Gundam X, Seed/Seed Destiny, 00 and now AGE) I really enjoyed the story in it and the animation and sound track was very nice as well. But my favorite Gundam currently is Unicorn, it does everything a Gundam does and cranks it up to a 11. The animation (which looks amazing on blu-ray) the soundtrack the story I just love everything about it. But unfortunately to get the most out of you one would have had to watch the original series, zeta Gundam ZZ Gundam and Char’s counter attack.

You’re referring to the BlazBlue novels right? Well in any case I have never been to Dustloop before so I am not sure if they are working on a translation or not. But I had heard that the phase 0 novel has been half translated but I can’t say for sure though.
  7. Torrenting the movie right now but surprisingly I went through the OVA without even knowing about it. Sadly the movie have gotten so many negative reviews and goes in a different direction for an ending killing the audience devotion to the series, I almost don't want to watch it as it may not do any justice for the series.

I'll be sure to go through Second Raid when given the time, now that I think about it FMP was done really well and I haven't taken the time to torrent it like other older series. I can always stream it at the worst possible scenario when there are no seeds.

Last Gundam I went through was Unicorn without watching the first season of Seed multiple of times, only gotten through two episodes/movies of it. I slightly want to return back but I was never a hardcore "Gundam" fanatic, I couldn't finish 00 when my friend given it to me through his hard drive. Sort of regret not completing it but figured I wasn't really missing much since I didn't keep up with the timeline.

Didn't Dustloop have a thread devoted to some of translation for the light novels? I remember some of the characters even had short stories. I almost want to return to the site and just bookmark the thread alone for anything worth reading through that site.
  8. Yes Turn A Gundam never got a release in north America, it almost did get a release though but unfortunately bandai shut down there NA store and Turn A lost its opportunity for a release for now. Turn A Gundam was the last hand drawn Gundam and the last Gundam made by the series creator Tomino. Turn A actually has quite the cult following in the west and it actually did not do so great in Japan but it is considered to be one of the best Gundams by many (I am currently working my way through the series right now)

Gundams usually tend to have a good sound track one of my most favorite is the final mission peace which played during the climax of the Gundam 00 movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUvhbQSSSxg

I have not seen the OVAs/movie so I don’t have a link but I can give you a brief description link
    OVA: http://myanimelist.net/anime/2170/So...o_Aquarion_OVA
    Movie: http://myanimelist.net/anime/6032/Aq...u_Gyakuten_Hen

Oh you have not watched second raid. Second raid has the same cast we all know and love but the series is darker and has more a focus on the mecha part of FMP but that is not to say there is no comedy there is plenty of it. Second raid is 13 episodes long and has a episode 0 special and a OVA (OVA is just comedy).
  9. Listening to the music right now and just loving it, almost feeling a little emotional while listening to it. Where in the world have I been to miss this masterpiece? Obviously gotten an anime but I don't think it made it out to America, that probably explains why I missed it. I thought "Seed" had an amazing soundtrack but I'm sold with this.

Most of the time I prefer my music to have a little bit more energy in them but when the song have a strong meaning. I can get easily attached, most amazed it's not done by supercell or other popular groups that can make a defining song for an anime. They worked on Code Geass and Star Driver for examples.

OVA's and a movie for Aquarion? I wasn't aware such things existed, I only remember going through the first and second season, please link me if you happen to get the chance.

I remember finishing the original FMP and some of Fumoffu but never hand the chance to find "Second Raid". Did Second Raid have a whole new leading cast? I remember a few years back looking into it there was blood and violence found every corner by these two high school girls. Probably didn't contain any comedy either.
  10. Yes I agree that the music and animation are near flawless. But with music done by Yoko Kanno. She has done such fantastic work, she has quite a impressive resume she has worked on several Macross titles the previous Aquarion and Turn A Gundam (I absolutely love the turn A ending music I find it to be quite beautiful I can’t really describe it any other way http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2NkIJyRylw)

Yeah I have not watched the original Aquarion yet but I do plan on to watch it. I will eventuallly watch the two Aquarion OVAs as well which are a alternate retelling of the series or perhaps the movie which is the two ovas together with some more scenes (I should really watch the movie since it was referenced in Evol)

Oh and you have watched Full metal panic before? I assume you have watched Fumofu and the second raid in addition to the original series.
