Well we have a release date from a previous source that said the planned console release is 8/29/12 (iirc, I know it was August anyway). For the states we'll likely see it holiday season if I was to take a guess, and hopefully you EU guys get it soon after.

Well they said spring for the arcade release and summer for the console. I thought the arcade one would be around April time but its great its even earlier. As for summer the time slot can be anywhere from the beginning of June to the middle of September. It probably is around August like Trig said. Either way its gonna be awhile till we have the game in our hands.

Oh and Glen I think that's a pretty cool idea. We could take turns and rotate who streams the 24/7 coverage. Seeing as how I don't have streaming equipment I cant be one of them. But I'm all for making the lobby for us all to play when others are available to play

Just because a few people who talked to James Xie said it sucked doesn't mean they all think it sucks, especially if said people apparently are spamming R-actions and All out attacks. That crouch glitch needs to get fixed though, without a doubt.

Thats unfair to make that comparison because, while true, HnK and SBX shared the same glitchy flawed gameplay system (which like you said, happened to be fun as hell). P4U is being built up to be a lot different with its own rules and own system that is closer to the BB system.

I think that promotional art is the first time I've seen a P4U image where the characters are wearing their distinctive glasses, well at least two of them. Still, I knew that they would be in there because of the whole "Megane" option in the character select screen, but it's neat to see anyways.

Makes me wonder if the Persona 3 characters will be able to have their own special glasses.

The game's been confirmed for a Summer release for consoles in Japan for a while now.

And that art is a "possible" box art but it isn't the box art. Promotional images like this are released all the time and don't necessarily correspond to a game's box art (see: Catherine).

Yes, it's possible, but it isn't a certainty. And the fact that the art director himself drew it doesn't mean anything. Like I said, promotional material like this to promote a game is common, especially in Japan. People thought that this would end up being the Catherine box art simply because it was a poster and it wasn't:

Hey we got a glimpse of some Teddie action at the end. I view this as a bit of a double edges sword. One side, its a simple vid that give a good visual breakdown of the game's mechanics (whether you speak japanese or not). Downside, seeing the simple "A" combo system in play will probably leave a bad first impressions among a chunk of the FGC. Cool Beans nonetheless!

A. It's the rating system which we developed to measure the ability of the player more quickly and accurately. It short for Player Skill Rating.

Q. How to change the color of characters/persona ?
A. Select the character you want to change, press the button. A menu color will be displayed.

I'm not too keen on the aspect of the S Chain either, but we just have to see how it's gonna be in the final build. For all we know, the damage could have been scaled or the S Chain is easier to punish. I doubt it has the benefits of a combo that takes work to do

The statements Atlus has made in regards to the story has mostly referred to the console versions' Story Mode, so I wouldn't expect too much from the arcade version.

Also, I was expecting those Andriasang screen shots to be new, but it seems they're from an old build mainly because of the look of the Persona Gauge.
