Call me King Krimson. I've got a bad habit of joining forums and not introducing myself. Shy, maybe? Either way, I'm a fighting game player like most people, having a preference to the anime-styled fighters rather than 3D, most capcom games, and more. I was just one of those people who faceroll buttons and hope to win but as of last year or so, I decided to pick up a stick and make magic happen. I'm not all that great, but someday I'd hope to be and I feel I'm making progress as at least just a mid-level AH3 player as of now. With P4A, I intend to go in as Akihiko but Chie's a cruel temptress. May juggle between the two if anything.
Other series I enjoy aside SMT are Sonic, Touhou, Star Ocean, Pokemon (Used to play competitively but stopped due to fighters), Smash Bros. (Used to do this competitively too), Fire Emblem, Tales Of, and Earthbound (Mother). It's very rare that I'd watch anime nowadays, but the ones I know I love are Baccano!, Cowboy Bebop, Hajime no Ippo, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure which is the source of my name, Hokuto no Ken, DBZ and FLCL.
But yeah, that's me. I'm gonna be frequenting these forums quite a bit from now on and hope I get to go to offsite tourneys so I can get busy, get bodied, whatever the case may be. See you guys around.

'sup man, welcome to MM!
Welcome to them forums, yo.
What a nice way to introduce yourself with personal hobbies and own interest. It's even more grand that you decided to step your game up in the competitive world, although you may not get sponsored it's great that you'll attempt to make a name for yourself instead of remaining in the confinement of the online world.
You would've been a great friend to chill out with if you were within TX. so we can both step our game up at any hour the day. Hopefully you'll get your name out there and be a player worth supporting that will represent the American scene. You can have your opinions but look at things from more than one view or expect a lot of hate.

If I'm lucky with my job, I may be able to go to Texas. Who knows. Either way I know I won't be where I am come this fall and I should be over the west coast somewhere if not Texas.
Hopefully, anyway.
I played a lot in the TX. scene but it wasn't enough to truly stand out as they don't record or stream enough to display the TX. scene potental. Eventually I invested into my own recording equipment to get these guys to stand out but they clearly refused my offer. Its like if they're exposed getting blown up they don't want the world to know about it and keep their name clean.
In the end I only ended up recording online matches which got boring. Though it did provide American game play for everyone to enjoy. Not like watching foreign countries duke it out wasn't fun but it didn't show America with the confidence to step their game up or notice any hidden players throughout net play. No worries though, even if you don't come out to TX. starting this Winter I'll be flying out to many other scenes at least once per season to challenge friends in other states or join tournaments.
Online really burned me out and my schedule with the military is pretty hectic right now.

Settled for the Army after getting the run around through two other branches. May have not got the MOS I wanted but at least I'll be obtain my 911 G.I Bill. Enlisting in Texas also provided me with another helpful benefit which is additional 150 free college hours so its like 7 years of free education.
Don't tell me you plan to enlist?
